MY QUESTIONS:
1.) What made you start blogging?

I started blogging back in my first year at uni. I was studying textiles and had just moved out and was quite lonely. One of my flatmates was also a blogger and introduced me to this world and I was hooked! I started joining twitter chats and meeting some amazing people and felt like a part of a community!
2.) Do you keep your blog a secret from your friends & family or does everyone know?

My friends and family all know, I have a really supportive circle and so my parents are my biggest Youtube Fans haha! But when it comes to my blog my boyfriend Chris and best friend Beth are super supportive and motivating.
3.) Where is your favorite place to take photos? Why?

I love photographing outdoors, I find nature and green really peaceful. If you head over to my Instagram (sophie_kennerley) I have recently visited the Forest Of Dean and it was the most peaceful trip ever! Just going on long walks and bike rides, I felt so calm and at ease. My Instagram is certainly reflecting that at the minute!
4.) What is your dream job? Are you already doing it?

My dream job...now thats a tough one - especially right now as I have just finished uni! I would love to be able to do this full time, but I know that is probably an unrealistic goal! All I want from life in general is to be happy, and be surrounded by the people I love!
5.) What’s one thing you’re proud of yourself for doing?

I am really proud of myself for going to uni. This was something a few years ago, I wouldn't have seen myself doing this as I didn't have any self belief. However, I took the plunge, moved out and did it! Moving out was one of the hardest things I have done, and don't get me wrong I cried for weeks/months wanting to just move back home. However, uni has made me much more independent but also thankful. My family are so supportive and do so much for me, sadly it took me going to uni and moving out to fully see this, they really are amazing people.
6.) What is/was one of your goals for this year?

My big goal for this year is to buy myself a car! I've never owned a car completely to myself, when I passed my driving test I shared a car with my mum as I knew I was going to go to uni the year after so didn't see the point in getting one. After living at uni for 3 years and having independence, I've made it my mission to buy myself a car! (Quick plug but I am selling some bits on my Depop to help fund it so click here to visit my Depop shop!)
7.) What’s one of your hobbies you love doing?

THIS! Blogging/Youtube are my biggest passions and loves. During my final few months at uni they had to take a back seat and I even deleted Instagram to focus on my education. But I missed it massively.
8.) How often do you find yourself on social media?

To be honest, constantly. I always have my phone with me, and social media is part of my life as I think it is with most people of my generation. I did however, have a couple of months off Instagram for my final campaign as I felt it was too much of a distraction, as well as seeing people post how far along they were when I had been given an extension due to things going on back home which I won't discuss, I found it quite upsetting being on Instagram in general.
9.) What makes a person inspiring?

I think if I look up to someone, then they are inspiring. I think if you are truly independent and secure and happy then that inspires me. My parents inspire me every day, and if I could be half the woman that my mum is, then I will be over the moon.

10.) Would you change anything from your past?

No, I believe that everything happens for a reason. Whatever has happened in my past has happened, and it's what I do now that matters.
11.) How much longer do you see yourself blogging?

Hopefully forever, I do this as a hobby like I have said and its something that I love.

I challenge anyone to do this tag!

  1. I love that your parents are your biggest YouTube fans - that's so cute!! Also, I totally agree about uni! For some people it's the natural next step, but it is scary! I was the same as you - suddenly in a flat hundreds of miles from my friends and family surrounded by people I didn't know and not even the knowledge of how to use a washing machine! It taught me a lot, that's for sure 😂

    1. hahaha they are so cute! My biggest fans in general really, so lucky. Yeah uni has been the biggest learning curve for me, I've finally learnt how to cook which if you asked me before uni what I could cook it was a tin of soup haha! My biggest lessons from uni haven't been in the classroom for sure!
